Just months ago, sometime in March 2013, I had the wonderful, awesome time being painted on, dressed up, and adorned by the all inspiring Goddess of a woman Eleta 'El' Haile. The photographic series of stories we were able to create together were to be publicaly displayed an amazing event in Washington, D.C. called the DC RAW Artists showcase. I wasn't able to physically be at this events but I did come across some flicks from the show of the audience enjoying her work.
Born and raised in the U.A.E to parents of Ethiopian/Eritrean descent,
El is considered an all-around Artiste,a woman who does it all. Now based in the DC area she is a Dancer/Back-up Vocalist for DC's own Eme & Heteru, Freelance Photographer,Stylist,Model and CEO of TRUE:xpressionz,Designer of her own Jewelry line 'Pieces of Ajna',Philanthropist,Belly dance Instructor,Reiki Master and Holistic practitioner at TRUE:prana...while meanwhile also maintaining the balance of motherhood and homeschooling her 3 year old daughter, Zaara Ajna.

Here's a name you've probably heard before:
This woman is not only just an exotic face,
but the talent she embodies and exudes is beyond compelling:
Alex Alexander is a native of Washington DC, born February 14th of 1988. After graduating from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Alexander received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute (MICA) in 2010. She now resides in Baltimore. With eight years of photographic exploration and training under the eye of such teaching artists as Jack Wilgus and Alexander Heilner, Alex has continuously worked towards combining her first love of the poetic arts with the fine medium of photography thus all efforts accumulate to what Alexander calls, Photo-Poetry.
Not only is Alex a dear friend of mine, but i also got the privilege to work with her in such an artistic manner!
Check out some of our pics. The other two models happen to be my two very best friends Imani Inami and Jetia Deity!
